The SlideAcart can carry a safe working load of 25 Kg on the top and 50 Kg on the base
The weight of the base frame is 8 Kg. It is an easy lift from approximatel knee height to waist height with no body twisting involved
Yes. The SlideAcart is fitted with commercial travelator castors similar to those used in shopping centres
The SlideAcart will fit into all medium to large SUV vehicles and stationwagons. It wil fit into some smaller SUVs (see the Website for details under Car Guide). The current model SlideAcart will not fit inside traditional Sedan style vehicles.
To keep the shipping costs to a minimum, we have had to incorporate a flat pack design. However, with household tools including those supplied, this can be achieved by any home handy person
Yes. It is designed for apartments with lifts and homes that have a single step which makes it to take straight to your kitchen/fridge and pantry. It fits into small elevators as well. In other cases, the contents will need to be unloaded in the garage or similar
Yes. Due to its steel construction and powder coat finish, it will outlast most other trolleys on the market.
No. You will need to request special terrain castors which will be an additional cost item

I purchased this slideAcart recently and it is the best purchase I have made.
I use it not only for groceries but for all my shopping.
It saves on bags and makes it so much safer to have all your shopping in the one basket.
I find it easy to push into the car and also to pull it out.
Once I am at home it’s easy to manouvre to the fridge…pantry….laundry and anywhere else I need to.
Another feature I enjoy is when you need to squeeze in between cars you have plenty of room as it is a compact design.
I would certainly recommend this slideacart to all my family and friends.

We shop once a fortnight at both Aldi and Woolworths/ Coles on the same day at a large shopping centre.
We load up the first basket at Aldi (using the storage below for toilet paper or soft drink etc) and slip the basket into the back of the car.
We then use our second basket to do the other supermarket shopping.
Because of the fast scanning system that Aldi uses we find it easier to just put the items in the basket.
When home, it is easy to take one basket and wheel it to unload straight into the fridge / panty/ freezer and then repeat the operation with the second basket.
We timed the “unpacking” and found it was done in a fraction of the time that it used to take.
We have also eliminated the “double handling” ie conveyor belt to basket / basket to plastic bags/ plastic bags to counter top / counter top to pantry/ fridge etc. We smile when we hear they are about to ban plastic bags- we are already ahead of the pack!
We don’t take up as much room in the elevator and that impresses other lift users!
We were surprised on our first use to see how much each basket was able to hold.
In the car park or elevator we are already being asked where we got out beautiful, colourful slideAcart. One lady took a photo on her phone of the web site and said she had just found her Mother’s Day gift for mum.

Have been using the SlideACart for several months now and love it. Very easy to manoeuvre over all usual shopping and carpark surfaces, travelators, in and out of lifts etc. Very easy to load and withdraw from the boot of my SUV, including when fully loaded. Frame is a little heavy at about 8kg, but can be easily lifted and positioned around the basket – only took a couple of goes to get the hang of this. Basket is a really good size for me – household of two, shopping once or twice a week. The base of the frame can be used for large items like dog food or toilet paper. So easy to manoeuvre around the supermarket – and the basket is the perfect height to eliminate bending for me. The other great thing is that the trolley fits over the bag store at the end of the checkout and many times the checkout staff have loaded directly to the trolley. If I have used bags, I tend to unload them from the boot and carry them to the panty, which is next to the garage. However, if I have packed directly to the trolley, such as at Aldi, then I just wheel the whole trolley to the pantry door and unload direct to cupboards or the fridge. And as for infection control – no more wiping down the trolley and bag rest before using! Or worrying coins or walking the trolley back to the trolley bay. So many pluses! Love it. Thanks Sam.

I’m so glad I invested in a Slide A Cart, I love it! For me it’s way easier taking it in & out of my car boot than it is to use a store trolley and then return that store trolley to a trolley bay. If I go to 2 or 3 places with trolleys in a day (eg. Aldi, Woolies, Kmart), I’m no longer sanitising 3 different trolleys. Only my hands touch my trolley. The Slide A Cart allows me to add items into the basket and retrieve them without over extending my back. It glides around, it’s so easy to push. Loading groceries into my car is so easy. It’s the purchase of the year for me and worth every cent.
